Shortly before Christmas, guests and staff members of the ROAM co-living hotel in Ubud, Bali gathered  in the communal kitchen for cooking class.

Two young women showed the students how to stir-fry chicken in a Balinese sauce.

That night, Balinese stir-fried chicken appeared on the rooftop restaurant’s menu.
